Frequently Asked Questions

Please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions below to help you find a quick solution. If not, please send an enquiry via our Contact page.

Who is eligible to join ACE Group Ireland?

ACE Group World Ireland membership is available to Doctors, Nurses and Dentists who are registered with either the Medical Council of Ireland, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or Dental Council of Ireland. They must also be able to produce (where required) evidence of training for the procedures they undertake and hold appropriate medical indemnity insurance.

I am a UK member, do I need to rejoin ACE Group Ireland?

You will still have full access to all of the membership benefits and use of the forum and Emergency Helpline if you have a UK membership, but if you are based in Ireland, why would you not want to join your own country site? You will also only appear on the Find A Practitioner map for Ireland, if you join via this site.

If you join ACE Group Ireland and have a UK membership, please contact us via email or using the contact form and we will provide a pro-rata refund of any exisiting membership on the UK site.

Can I purchase ACE Group Patient Leaflets?

Unfortunately not! Due to postage restrictions between the UK and EU and also the weight of leaflets incurring high postage costs, at this time, ACE Group World do not offer this service.

If there is a demand for ACE Group Patient Leaflets, we would consider partnering with an organisation to provide leaflets for practitioners in Ireland.

How do I access the ACE Group Forum?

ACE Group World has a closed Facebook group for its members. You can request to join the forum after completing your registration with ACE Group World. You will need to provide your Facebook profile name during registration.

What do I do if I need advice for the management of a complication?

Depending on how urgent you need advice, you can contact us via email, post on the ACE Group World forum or contact the Emergency Helpline.

Please visit the complications contact page for further information when you are logged in.

What type of complications can ACE Group help with?

ACE Group provides guidance on managing complications from dermal fillers, botulinum toxins, chemical peels, threads, energy-based devices,  polynucleotides, platelet rich plasma, fat injections and all general treatments that may be performed in aesthetic clinic.

We are unable to provide advice direct to patients or legal advice to practitioners.

Can non-members, patients or members of the public contact ACE Group for advice?

Unfortunately not! Only ACE Group World members are able to contact us for advice on management of complications. For patients or members of the public who feel they are experiencing a complication, they should contact their treating practitioner in the first instance and if they are unable or unwilling to manage their complication, you could contact a member of ACE Group World on the Find A Practitioner map for assistance and evidence-based management with the full support of the medical team of ACE Group World. If you are experiencing serious symptoms, you will need to contact emergency medical services or attend hospital.

Does ACE Group World provide any live workshops or education in Ireland?
